British Car Auctions acquires NKL Automotive

British Car Auctions (BCA) has recently acquired NKL Automotive, a Goole-based logistics company, reports suggest. The deal should see the BCA Logistics' creation and is expected to boost the organisation's current offering. While the agreement's monetary value still remains undisclosed, about 200 drivers and operational staff of NKL will likely join BCA in this acquisition. Although nothing has been said about the possibilities of increase in jobs in logistics sector post this agreement, the deal is significant for both the firms.

"BCA Logistics handles over a quarter of a million vehicle movements annually, and this acquisition further enhances the range and flexibility of services we can offer our customers. BCA Logistics will also utilise the NKL Goole facility to offer additional storage and refurbishment services," commented BCA Logistics director, Jonathan Higham.
